Who We Are
We are a small animal control/shelter facility managed by Animal Control Officers and overseen by the Sulphur Springs Police Department. This is a kill shelter with limited space you can email us or call our shelter for more infromation.
Adopting a friend
The $85.00 adoption fee is to be paid to the local vet of your choice. Or you can use your personal vet if prefer. You have 30 days to have the sterilization completed after you take your new pet home. This is for dog or cat. (dog) includes:
1. One heartworm blood test. Heartworm prevention pills are highly recommended and are an additional charge.
2. One rabies vaccination.
3. One DHLP (distemper/parvo) vaccination. If your new pet is a puppy, he or she may require additional DHLP vaccinations. These boosters are not included in the adoption fee, and will be an additional cost.
4. One worming with a general wormer for roundworms and hookworms.
5. One spay (female) or neuter (male). If your new pet is a puppy, the surgery will be scheduled for a later
date.
These services cost regularly between $120.00 and $184.00.
The $85.00 adoption fee (cat) includes:
1. One FVRCP (feline rhinotracheitis/calicilpanleukopenia/chlamydia) vaccination.
2. One rabies vaccination.
3. One worming with a general wormer for roundworms and hookworms.
4. One spay (female) or neuter (male). If you new pet is a kitten, the surgery will be scheduled for a later date. .
These services cost regularly between $170.00 and $180.00.
