Come meet Bella, a gorgeous girl with a patchwork quilt coat of many colors. Bella gets along fine with other dogs, but likes her cats with a little salt and pepper so needs to be in a catless home. She is a loving, sweet girl.

Adopting a friend

If you are interested in adoption but live outside the Carthage area, we will help with transport from 1-3 hours from Carthage. We will need several days notice to make arrangements.

We are rescue friendly and will help arrange transport to another rescue who is willing to help any pet we may have in our care.

How can you help?

If you see a dog who touches your heart but you are unable to bring this dog home with you, consider sponsoring a spay or neuter for them. The only way to control the population of unwanted animals is thru spay and neuter. Lets work ourselves out of the animal control business by spaying and neutering.

You can help us help the animals by making a donation to County Animal Rescue by snail mail at the address above. Money orders or cash are always accepted and appreciated.

As we are a volunteer organization with limited resources, we are in need of funds for flooring, walls, and finishing for the inside of our building. Dog and cat food, paper towels, bleach etc.. is also appreciated. We need anything that you can think of that a Rescue could ever need.
