Our adoption center accepts donations for the care and feeding of our lost and homeless pets, and any gifts of cat litter, and dry dog or cat food are greatly appreciated.
Who We Are
We are the Animal Services Department for the City of Coppell, Texas. We receive our animals in one of three ways: We pick up and/or accept stray animals found within the city limits, and we also accept owner released animals from any resident living in Coppell. You must be atleast 18 years old to adopt a pet.
Adopting a friend
Our adoption fee is $20.00 (fee is waived for recognized rescue groups).
Upon adoption, if the animal is 6 months old or older and still intact, an appointment will be scheduled with one of our area vets and the animal will remain at the shelter until the day of the surgery. On the morning of the procedure, your new pet will be delivered to the specified vet by one of the shelter staff. The reduced cost of the operation (S.N.Y.P. coupon provided at time of adoption) will be paid to the vet by the new owner. If the animal is not yet 6 months old, a sterilization contract must be signed, and proof provided back to the shelter of the completed procedure by the date speficied on the contract.

We are located about 6 miles north of DFW Airport.
From highway 121 north, take the Bethel Road/Bass Pro Drive exit to the right (east), the third street on your right will be S. Coppell Road. Take a right (south) on S. Coppell Road and the shelter will be on your right just past the railroad tracks.
From highway 635, exit on Beltline and go Northbound. Take a left on Southwestern (the next light after Airline drive) and drive towards the water tower. Just before you reach the water tower take a right on S. Coppell Rd. The next immediate left will place you in our parking lot.
