Sycamore Street Rescue

Our Adoptable Pet List

Our Featured Pet: Joseph

Joseph is one of three kittens who survived starvation and malnutrition to become the handsome, young adult he is today. Because he is feline leukemia positive, he was destined to be euthanized, but Sycamore Street Rescue gave him the chance to live.

News

New Year: Our small group has a few wishes this year. One immediate need is that our feline leukemia positive kitties need to be retested for leukemia. For only $50 (if we test only one), we can find out if they have shed the virus! Food and litter are always welcome. Please contact us at sycamorestreetrescue@yahoo.com if you have any available resources or would like to make a donation. Most of all, this year, we wish for loving homes for all needy animals.

Happy Tails!

Who We Are

Sycamore Street Rescue is a non-profit animal rescue organization that began in the early 1990s with the rescue of feral cats on Sycamore Street. Since then, they have rescued dozens of cats, dogs, and one rabbit. On our own, and in conjunction with other groups, we have made it our mission to help abandoned animals find a secure, happy, and healthy future.

Due to full foster homes, we are not accepting any more rescues at this time.

Adopting a friend

Our adoption process consists of filling out a pre-adoption questionnaire, which is then reviewed by the foster parent. An interview will then be scheduled, as well as a home visit. If approved, then the adoption contract will be signed and the adoption fee paid. The Adoption Fee Includes: Age appropriate shots and Spaying/Neutering, and any other vet care needed while in our care.
