We've had a pretty good adoption year this year (2007), over 400!!!
We thank EVERYONE who has volunteered throughout the year! We couldn't be so successful without your help.
We go to the PetsMart at I-20 and Hulen the 2nd and 3rd Sat. of every month from noon-5pm for adoptions. Please drop by if you're in this area. This has made a tremendous difference in how many pets from our shelter get adopted, since our community of Granbury is rather small.

Who We Are
Friends for Animals Adoption Shelter is a small non-profit no-kill shelter. We can house about 20-40 dogs/puppies in our outside kennels, and 20-30 cats/kittens in our 2 cageless adult cat and kitten rooms.
Adopting a Friend
Our adoption fee is $95 for dogs and $85 for cats. This includes all their shots, cats are leukemia and FIV tested, dogs are heartworm tested and put on prevention, spaying/neutering (if the animal is not of age, we give you a voucher). We take cash or local checks; we are not equipped to accept credit cards.
