All God's Creatures is a non-profit 501(c)3, no-kill organization that relies on donations from the public. We do rescue, public education and promotion of spay/neuter programs. AGC also serves as a referral service to those seeking adoption or assistance with animals other than cats.
We bring stray and abandoned kitties into our home, plus we pull from "high kill" shelters in the Golden Triangle and surrounding areas. These cats are taken to the vet for examinations upon arrival into our organization. The necessary medical care is given and when they are healthy, they are put up for adoption. All cats that are old enough are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, for those not spayed/neutered prior to adoption, this service is included in the adoption fee. AGC does follow-up to make sure the cats are spayed or neutered at the proper age and are not allowed to reproduce. The adoption fee also includes necessary vaccinations (including rabies), testing for FIV/Leuk, and microchipping.
We are at PetSmart in Beaumont every Saturday from 12:30PM til 4:30PM. We are presently considering adding a Sunday adoption event on the first weekend of the month at the same times.
