Fuzzy Friends Rescue
News...
Fuzzy Friends Rescue has a lot of great dogs of all breeds and sizes just waiting to find permanent, loving homes. When you adopt a dog from Fuzzy Friends Rescue, you’re not only saving a life, you’re also getting a wonderful companion and opening up a space so that we may in turn rescue another pet that deserves a second chance at life.
Our Special Needs...
We are of large water buckets for our larger dogs and toys for large breed dogs. We can also always use laundry detergent, bleach, paper towels, air freshner, and scoopable cat litter. Since this is SPRING and kitten and puppy season, we are in need of KMR kitten milk replacer formula as well as purina kitten chow.
SPRING has officially arrived and we are looking forward to the beautiful flowers and green grass that comes with this season. Also with this season, all shelters are overwhelmed with puppies and kittens due to the lack of spaying and neutering. We are in need of foster homes to help us care for these little homeless ones as well as Kitten Milk Replacer formula (KMR) and Purina Kitten Chow. If you are interested in being a foster parent, please call us. If you are interested in adopting, PLEASE come and visit the many wonderful animals we have that are in need of loving homes.
Who We Are
Fuzzy Friends Rescue is a non-profit (501 (c) (3) animal welfare organization that cares for homeless and unwanted animals in a life-care environment. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another, and we care for all those we take in until they are adopted. The faciltiy contains a fully equipped exam room, where the animals receive vaccinations, diagnostic testing and medication from a staff that truly cares about the pets we care for every day.
We try to place these animals in new homes with caring families as soon as possible. Some stay at Fuzzy Friends Rescue only a matter of days or weeks, but sometimes it takes months of care and rehabilitation before they are able to go to a new home. In some cases for those harder-to-place animals, their stay may be a year or more. Unless they have developed an incurable disease or they are aggressive, they have a home at Fuzzy Friends Rescue until they can be found a permanent, loving home.

Mixed breed cats - $80.00
Cats (5 yrs. and up.) - $40.00
The adoption fee includes any vaccinations given from incoming date to date of adoption, spay or neuter, FELV/FIV Test for Cats and Kittens and Occult Heartworm Test for Dogs and Puppies, fecal and de-worming if necessary. All Dogs are on Heartworm Prevention and all of our animals are on a monthly flea and tick prevention; all adopted animals are also microchipped and we send in the registration for the microchip for the lifetime of the animal. We do also treat any heartworm positive animals prior to them being adopted. You must be 21 years of age to adopt. Once you find the pet that is right for you, you will be asked to complete an adoption applicaiton. This applicaiton can be completed at our facility or online at www.fuzzyfriendsrescue.com After the application is submitted, it will take about 24 - 48 hours for the approval process. If approved, a time will be scheduled for you to return and complete the adoption process and pick up your new family member.
No animal is more valuable than any other. The difference in the fees is to help cover the expense of caring for the younger animals since they require more vaccinations and medical expense than alot of the adult animals. Also, the older animals are often overlooked adn the reduction in their fee will hopefully help place them in homes so they can live out their retirement years being loved in a home environment.
All animals adopted will follow the same adoption process as described above.
