Our featured pets are avaliable for adoption on a
'first come, first serve' basis. If more than one person wants the same animal at the same time a drawing will be held. All pets are subject to previous placement.

State and City Code requires that dogs, cats and ferrets be vaccinated against rabies by 4 months of age. The very first rabies vaccination your pet receives is valid for 1 year. Rabies vaccinations received by your pet after the initial vaccination are valid for 1 year or 3 years depending upon the type of vaccine your veterinarian used.

Adopting a friend
When adopting a pet the adopter will sign an adoption agreement. The agreement states they are at least 18 years of age; that the animal is to be spayed/neutered within 30 days or at 6 months of age; also that the animal be vaccinated against rabies as required by State and City code. The total cost to adopt ranges from $20.00 - $33.00 depending on residency.
