All of the animals who we foster and have available for adoption are "rescued." Most have come from kill shelters. Due to the never ending influx of wonderful animals into pounds & shelters every day, and the massive problem of pet-overpopulation, millions of wonderful animals end up getting killed every year. A very small percentage of shelter animals are lucky enough to be rescued and adopted.
