Our New Facility

new shelter Photobucket We will be moving into our new facility in July of 2009! It boasts glass front cages for all adoptable animals, seperate kennels for stray and adoptable dogs, cage free hallways, an open reception area, a huge HVAC system to handle the entire building, a workroom with a commercial dishwasher, an employee break room, and work stations for the animal control officers! We are so excited and cannot wait to see what a difference a new building makes!

June is Adopt-A-Shelter Cat Month! Extended throughout July!

Usually, the Tri-City Animal Shelter has an adoption special for cats in June, due to the incredibly large amount of cats that have come in. This year we have outdone ourselves! When you adopt a cat anytime during the month of June, you can adopt a second cat for $25. The shelter will waive the basic adoption fee, and the microchip fee for the second cat, however, sterilization vouchers must be purchased for all unsterilized cats. And it doesn't have to be at the same time. Say there is one little kitty that you liked, when you adopted your first cat, but you just didn't know if you should adopt two. If you decide during the month of June (or July) to come back for a second cat, the special stil applies, as long as you have proof of the first adoption! This special has been extended throughout the month of July as well, due to the large amount of cats we still have coming in. Come by and see some of the wonderful kitties we have to choose from!
