Hickory Creek Animal Control has just a small shelter but we keep it clean, safe and comfortable for all the animals we take in. We do our best to find good homes for all our animals
Adopting a friend
Normally, there is no one on duty at the shelter. Please call Kenneth Lowrie to make an appointment to see any of our animals. Kenneth Lowrie will do his best to meet you at a convenient time.
Our pet adoption fee is $100. This includes: Canine
Spay or Neuter
Rabies = 1 Year
DHLPPC = Distemper Shot*
HWT = Heartworm Test Feline
Spay or Neuter
Rabies = 1 Year
FVRCP = Distemper Shot
FELV / FIV = Leukemia Test *DHLPPC equals the following:
Distemper,
Hepatitis,
Leptospira Serovars = 4-Way which is
Caricola,
Icterohae morrhagiae,
Grippotyphosa,
Pomona,
Parainflueza,
Parvo,
Corona.

We are located on the southbound I35 service road, just south of the Lake Dallas/Hickory Creek Exit. Turn right at the first building past the Barbeque Pit and come in the front door.
