Mary Kay
Mary Kay has been with us a while due to the litter she had but now they are gone and now it is her turn. She is a calico that needs to be spayed and recieve all of her shots. Mary got her name due to the markings of her eyes and lets not forget how gorgous she is. Mary is very effectionate and would like to share her love with you. So come on down and adopted her.

Our Kid's and Cops event was a huge success! The kids had a great time and most every pet has a new home!

On June 21, 2008 starting at 8am Hickory Creek is having a Wag 'n Walk over in Hickory Creek's Sycamore Bend Park and we have been invited to take part in this great event. To check out the times and official rules please check out their web site at

Donations
Can you help? We are a small shelter and we depend a great deal on donations. Especially in the case of sick or injured animals and the sometimes costly medical bills that may incur. Donations of any kind gladly accepted. Come see us at the shelter or mail donation to City of Lake Dallas Animal Services,P.O. Box 368, Lake Dallas, Tx 75065. Make checks payable to City of Lake Dallas.
Who We Are
We are a small shelter but no matter how crowded we become we try our best to find homes for as many of our animals as possible. Every one deserves a second chance!
Adopting a friend
To adopt a new family member,an adoption form must be filled out and Adoption fee of $10.00 per animal is charged. If you live in our city a $5.00 per year city registration fee is also required with proof of rabies vaccination. We do require, in our city, that all pets..and this includes cats and dogs, be enclosed in a secure enclosure or on some sort of restraint at all times. This is for the safety of your pets. Call us if you need more information on this or any other animal related city ordinances.
Did you know...
It is a Texas State Law that all pets have an annual rabies vaccine!
Remember to keep your ID/Rabies tags on your pets at all times! You never know how important that is until they are lost!

35N Over the bridge to the Lake Dallas exit. At the exit keep to the right. At the 2nd stop sign (at Hundley) turn right. Go past the schools (2 stop signs) to Hundley/Lakeview. Turn left on Lakeview. Follow road all the way down past horse stables. We are on the left side. Cream color building/blue trim.
From Denton:
35S to the Swisher Rd exit. Through the light. Make the right hand turn past the Rave Theater that takes you over the over pass and into Lake Dallas. At Hundley turn left, Go past the schools (2 stop signs) to Hundley/Lakeview. Turn left on Lakeview. Follow road all the way down past horse stables. We are on the left side. Cream color building/blue trim.
