Texas Humane Heroes, formed by the merger of the Humane Society of Williamson County and Cen-Tex Humane Society-2nd Chance, is a private, non-profit animal welfare organization operating two No Kill Adoption Centers in the greater Austin metropolitan and Killeen/Ft. Hood areas. We are 100% funded by donations, grants and modest service fees, and receive no government funding.
