Who We Are
The Beeville Humane Society is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization founded in 1970. The wonderful group of people who started the organization worked very closely with the Beeville Animal Control to build a shelter to house the homeless pets in our community. They worked very hard to find homes for the dogs and cats and made many hard decisions to do the best for these pets.
Our current small group of people are trying equally hard to save as many homeless pets from death as we can and to keep these lucky pets healthy and safe until we find them permanent homes. This includes twice daily care as well as raising funds to do this.
Adopting a Friend
Since we are foster care, we sometimes have great dogs that we love who are ready to find a family of their own. Since we are foster care, we sometimes have lots of cats who a loving, sweet and of course perfect. For information on adopting a pet anytime call Terry at 361-343-0116.
Volunteering and Donations
The Beeville Humane Society needs the help of our community to protect and help the homeless dogs and cats. We are very short-handed and can use the help of people who can donate their time by writing letters, cleaning cages, helping with fundraisers, walking dogs or petting cats and soon by helping out at our new shelter. We also can use help with the cost of upkeep.
