Who We Are - Helping Hands Basset Rescue (HHBR)
is a non-profit organization based near Austin, TX that specializes in rescuing
Basset Hounds from abusive or unwanted situations and finding wonderful forever
homes for each of them. Each dog is placed with a foster family that provides
food, love and a temporary home setting in which to learn.
We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization therefore all donations are tax
deductible. HHBR uses every dime raised to pay veterinarian and related
costs for the bassets we take in each year. No money is designated for
salaries.
Adopting a friend - We work hard to place the right
basset in the right home. To adopt one of our wonderful bassets simply go

will then be in contact with you. Our current adoption fee is $175.
