MEET PATIENCE & PEPSI!

PATIENCE & PEPSI - Lab/Dane Mixes - Spayed & Neutered Estimated Date of Birth: 13 January 2009 We are an adorable pair! We have been together since birth and are very close! We were adopted out together and recently came back to the shelter after escaping from our home (back yard) numerous times. We always stayed together the entire time so we really want a new home where we can continue to stay together. We do well inside the house but we were never aloud inside our previous home. We really want to be with our people as well as each other. We are sweet, friendly, and get along well with everyone. Just take one look at us sleeping on the cushion together and you can tell we are a bonded pair!

The Las Lomas K9 Rescue & Adoption Foundation 501(c)(3) non-profit organization was officially begun on June 9, 2000. The main objectives of the Foundation are to rescue homeless and abandoned dogs from the Wilson County and surrounding areas and to provide food and water, shelter, medical care, and routine health maintenance. Once fully vetted and healthy, our goal is to find them responsible and loving homes. The Foundation believes these dogs are truly an important part of us and we take their lives and well-being very seriously. We gladly take back any dog that we have adopted out that isn't working out in his or her new home, for any reason, for the rest of the dog’s life. We arrange meet and greets by appointment. We request that you complete our Adoption Application (currently a Microsoft Word document) and email it to us at: kim@dogsrus.org if you are interested in one of our dogs. This does not commit you in any way but gives us a better idea of your lifestyle and what you are looking for in a dog.

The socialization skills obtained through in-home foster care not only helps us give potential adopters more information about each dog’s personality and placement needs, it enhances the chances and ease of a successful transition and integration into a permanent, adoptive home.
