VOLUNTEER

Animal Care and Control Center invites committed volunteers to help groom and exercise the dogs, spoil the cats, help with data entry and assist at special events. Please feel free to contact Officer Michael Matura or just come by the shelter for a tour and meet Mike. He’ll be happy to discuss with you all of the details that go with volunteering. We are also asking for volunteers to assist at our pet adoption center inside the PetSmart store located at Hulen St. and the 820 freeway in Fort Worth. We are open for business the same hours as the store. We can always use help with the dogs and cats that are available for adoption as well as showing customers animals, cleaning, feeding and just playing with the dogs in the enclosed exercise area. We have mobile adoptions at the Fort Worth CATS baseball team’s home game. Volunteers are always needed there to walk dogs in the stadium and assist with adoptions. .
