Our featured pet this month is Carla. She's such a sweetheart!

She was rescued from BARC hours before she was going to be put down:( Great FAMILY DOG! Loves to play, good with other dogs and cats!

Who We Are

Second Chance Pets is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization. We do not have a shelter; instead, all our animals are kept in foster homes until they are adopted. All the animals in the program are checked and, if necessary, treated by a veterinarian, receive all necessary shots, and are spayed or neutered.

Adopting a friend

Our volunteers will help you choose a pet that is right for your situation, and you will be asked to complete our adoption questionnaire, which we will review and discuss with you prior to finalizing the adoption. The adoption fee is $95 for cats and $125 for dogs, which helps offset veterinary expenses.

Come Visit Us!

We hold adoptions every Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Petco on Bay Area Boulevard at Space Center Boulevard in Clear Lake.
