Who We Are
For more information check out our website: www.pawsrescue.org
PAWS ANIMAL RESCUE, Inc. is a 501-C3 Non-Profit ALL VOLUNTEER organization. Our mission is to have all cats and dogs SPAYED OR NEUTERED . PAWS was started in May of 1999 as an exclusive shelter/animal control rescue. We consist of less than 12 volunteers and have saved over 2200 dogs and cats lives, and helped to prevent the reproduction of more unwanted animals. Some of the animals have been injured or have medical issues and all of these are treated for the conditions that may have cost them their lives in a shelter. We are a NO KILL organization and keep them in our homes until they are adopted.
News
PAWS microchips all dogs with 24Pet Watch. We are currently looking for people who can create, design and implement Fund Raisers to help with the rescue of many more deserving displaced cats and dogs. We are as always in desperate need of more foster homes and volunteers.
Fundraising
NEW FUNDRAISER!!! Please ask your friends and neighbors for their used inkject cartridge. PAWS will receive a check each month for the used cartridge's we turn in. THANKS!! Remeber we can always use old blankets and towels...Feel free to bring these items to us at Petsmart on Sundays!!!
Adopting a friend
Each animal has been evaluated by their foster to determine their personalities and traits. All of our dogs and cats live in our private homes and are supervised closely by their fosters to determine if there are any behavioral problems that may be an issue, which allows us to give you a better ideal of the type of pet you are getting. We do not adopt out of state. We also do not adopt to anyone with children under the age of 6 (unless there are already dogs or cats in the home and they have been evaluated.)
The felines (cats and kittens) in our program have had the following medical care before they are available for adoption:
- FELV/FIV (Feline Leukemia) (Feline Aids) Combo tested with a result of Negative
- Spayed or Neutered
- Rabies and all other shots that are age appropriate
- Wormed, treated for fleas and other skin parasites and any medical conditions that may apply.
Adoption fees:
General adoption fees are 100.00 and up depending on the individual animal.
The canines (dog and puppies) in our program have had the following medical care before they are available for adoption:
