If you are not able to adopt an animal our shelter is always in need of donations and very greatful towards any donation. We are in need of dog food, puppy food, and kitty litter. We also need cat food, metal food bowls and five gallon buckets for water for the larger dogs.

Who We Are
We are an animal care and control facility. Mansfield Animal Shelter is a city shelter used to hold, care for and adopt out impounded strays and owner released animals. Our purpose is to promote safe neighborhoods for people and their pets.
Adopting a friend
To adopt a new friend for your home you do not have to be a resident of Mansfield. The price for our dogs is $65. When you pay the $65 you will be given a $25 voucher towards spaying/neutering the animal and a $10 voucher towards getting the animal his/her rabies shot, they will be current on their vaccinations, we microchip them, and you get a city license. You should call the vet that you choose to use to get the animal spayed/neutered to make sure they accept our vouchers, all vets should accept the vouchers. To adopt a cat it is also $65. When you purchase the cat you will be given a $25 voucher towards spaying/neutering the animal and a $10 voucher towards getting the animal his/her rabies shot, we give them a 4 way vaccination, we microchip them, and you get a city license.
