Our Mission
Society for Animal Rescue and Adoption along with its sanctuary were created in response to the problem of abuse and abandonment of companion animals in Central Texas. We have been in operation, officially as a nonprofit organization, since March of 1996. SARA is located on 100 acres, which also serves as a refuge for wildlife.
Adoption Policy
1) Complete an adoption application by visiting the SARA website at www.sarasanctuary.org
2) Please wait up to 48hrs for our adoption coordinator to review your application and reach out to you.
3) Schedule an appointment with the adoption coordinator to meet the pet.
4) Bring home your new forever friend!
