Bonham Animal Shelter
Our Mission
All animals coming into the Bonham Animal Shelter will be vaccinated upon intake unless proof of vaccination is provided by surrendering owner and confirmed by issuing veterinarian.
The City of Bonham is a rural community located in Fannin County on US 82 approximately halfway between Sherman and Paris, Texas. We are approximately 70 miles northeast of Dallas, Texas, and approximately 40 miles south of Durant, Oklahoma.
Adoption Policy
Adoptions are currently $30 per animal which includes vaccination (not rabies), microchip, and gift for the new pet. Fostering is $10. Microchipping is available at the Shelter for $15 per animal.
If you are interested in adopting or fostering an animal, please call COME IN PERSON as things change quickly. Emails are checked at the Shelter as time allows and therefore are not always read or responded to in a timely manner.
