We are a non profit small local rescue in the Texarkana, AR/TX area that started on 1/1/12. Our mission is to rescue boxers and find them good homes. We need foster homes and adopters. We rescue from kill shelters, owner surrenders and stray boxers. The boxers that we have in rescue are all in foster homes mostly in the Texarkana, AR/TX area with others in Hot Springs, Maumelle, Little Rock and Bossier City.
The more fosters we have the more we can rescue. Our rescues are all spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and rabies, have had a heartworm and fecal test, and on heartworm prevention and heartworm treatment if needed. We require all animals of the adopter to be spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and rabies and on heartworm prevention. Our adoption fees are based on ages and helps us pay vet bills.
We require an adoption application to be completed that you can get by going to our website BoxerRescueOfTexarkana.com and click on the link How to Adopt and download the application. We check vet and personal references and we do a home visit. We will work with you to find the best boxer for our family. We require a safe fenced in yard to keep the boxers safe when they are outside and to give them an area to expend their energy to run and play.
We totally support decreasing the dog population by spay and neuter. The saddest boxers have been those pulled from a puppy mill that are abused and used just to make puppies and make someone money.
Please let us know if you have any questions at BoxerRescueOfTexarkana@gmail.com. We all work full time jobs and most of our work happens after work and on the weekends, so be patient with us.
We always need your help with donations to help the boxers. You can send donations to the PO Box listed at the top of this page. The BOXERS thank you!!

We do not have a facility. All of our boxers are in Foster Homes living with families until they get adopted.
