Our staff has been working long, hard hours to improve our 30+ year-old shelter. However, we have outgrown our present facility and have purchased 4+ acres to build a new, much larger, state-of-the-art animal shelter. Please call us if you would like to contribute to our building campaign.
Volunteers 16 years and older are welcome to our facility. All volunteers must complete an application and sign a volunteer agreement form before beginning their service. From office work to bathing puppies and kittens, there is ALWAYS something that needs to be done at The Humane Society of Northeast Texas! So, if you're willing to roll up your sleeves and help, we're ready to put you to work.
Donations of any kind are greatly appreciated and because we are a non-profit organization, donations are tax deductible. Besides monetary contributions, our wish list includes these most-used items:
