Who We Are
August Dog Rescue is a non-breed specific dog rescue organization. August Dog Rescue is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of suffering, homeless, and misplaced dogs, with a special focus on those that land on the euthanasia lists at local area shelters.
August, a word defined as 'inspiring reverence or admiration; of supreme dignity or grandeur; majestic,' aptly describes every unwanted dog in this world. Our goal is to uphold each and every dog rescued to such standards.
