Our Featured Pet...

Check out Gonzo, a chiweenie! My foster Mom tells me that I am a laugh a minute and that I have a cool personality. I run like a greyhound and love to play. But most of all, I love people. I think I deserve to be spoiled after all the time I spent lost on the streets. Look at my ears - I can hear everything!!!! Eating is also one of my favorite things - food, treats, vegetables - just feed me! I sure would like to find a safe place to call home. I'm a loyal companion! And as you can see, I've picked the biggest doggie bed in the house .. I'm a bed hog. I have a little bed just for me, but I like this really big one. I don't think my foster brother, a German Shepherd, is real happy sleeping in mine though. I love other dogs, large and small, and I just have a zest for life! Hope to see ya soon! The Gonz

News

We still have a few dogs that still need their heartworm treatment. Can you foster a pet after their treatment? If not, can you donate to help these dogs get the top veterinary care they deserve during the recovery time? Check out MetroplexMutts.org for more information and how you can help.

Who We Are

Metroplex Mutts is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation dedicated to lowering the number of metroplex animals euthanized each year. No-Kill is an attainable goal with education, spay neuter and adoption programs. When you adopt a pet through a rescue organization, you get a healthy pet that has been spayed or neutered and has been evaluated for any behavioral issues. We can let you know if they are good with other dogs or cats, or if they should be the only animal in the home. We try to answer all your questions to make sure you adopt the animal that is right for you and can be your life-long companion

Adopting a friend

You can email metroplexmutt@tx.rr.com for more information on our dogs or lnw3781@yahoo.com for our cats. We will be glad to answer any further questions and send you an adoption application that can be saved and emailed back to us.
