We hold adoption events at the Petsmart in Waxahachie on the 1st & 3rd Saturdays of every month. Come see us any time between Noon & 4 PM!
Who We Are
Tails of Hope is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to save abandoned, abused, and homeless dogs, to provide quality care and rehabilitation for the dogs, and place them in their own, loving forever home!
Tails of Hope Pet Rescue was incorporated in March 2008. We are a nonprofit rescue & adoption group based in Waxahachie, Texas. We do have land and are able to house dogs on-site, but most of our dogs are cared for in foster homes to provide additional shelter for our rescued animals.
Tails of Hope is currently run by a small team of volunteers. We are all dedicated to rescuing animals in need, providing a safe environment for these animals, and matching the rescue animals to good families who will provide a lifetime of loving care for them.
Adopting a friend
All of our animals are spayed or neutered before placement in a home. We provide medical care, such as vaccinations, heartworm treatment if necessary, and heartworm preventative. We also microchip our animals before adoption.
The process of adoption includes filling out an adoption application and passing a reference / vet / home check. We do charge an adoption fee of $100 to $250 to help with the costs of food and medical care for the animals we rescue.
