Meet Channing!

br>!

/a>
Channing waited day after day at a city shelter and just when things were looking very bleak for her, HBAR came to the rescue. Channing arrived at her foster parent's home and immediately decided to try to be standout foster. She quickly demonstrated some training, such as responding well to the sit command. She has been quiet, docile, and well behaved at her foster parent's home. She is developing a friendship with another dog who is teaching her the joy of toys. Channing finds it interesting that her current buddies all have long tails and she has this cute, little stub for a tail. She won't be knocking things off tables with the little stub of a tail she has. Channing has been to a few offsite adoption events. She gets a little unsettled with all the unpredictable activity that usually occurs at the events. Smaller children who are a bit boisterous around her while she is in her crate seem to make her nervous. It is best if she go to a home without small children, as the activity level of smaller children is overwhelming to her. Her ideal home is one that is somewhat predictable in the daily routine and generally, not loud and boisterous. Channing seems to be past the puppy stage and is a quiet, peaceful lady. .
