Pet of the Month
Our pets of the month introduce themselves...
Bo and Mitzi are two small rat terrier mixes who have been raised together all their lives (approx 4yrs now). Last year, their owner died and they were left homeless. C.A.R.E. stepped in to keep these two from going to the local shelter. During their time here, we have learned that they are quite bonded with each other, and we are interested in placing them together as the only dogs in a household. Mitzi is the dominant one in the relationship (could be because she has some Chihuahua in her? ) and Bo is so smitten with her, he puts up with her. C.A.R.E. is seeking volunteers in the DFW area! If you want to make a difference in the overpopulation of dogs and cats, contact us at belitterfree@onebox.com. We have MANY opportunities for volunteers - even if you cannot foster! Our volunteers live in various parts of the Dallas/Ft Worth area, so don't think you have to be in Bedford to work with us. We also gladly accept donations.
Who We Are
Coalition of Animal Rescue Efforts (C.A.R.E.) is a nonprofit (501c3), tax-exempt, all volunteer, organization located in the Dallas Ft Worth metroplex. Our mission is to support the efforts of rescue organizations and feature dogs for adoption. We are a foster home based organization, caring for the homeless dogs in the private homes of our fosters instead of a shelter environment.
