D.A.R.E.S.S. (Domestic Animal Rescue Emergency Shelter Service) is now managing the Ferris Animal Shelter. We are a no kill rescue. Our goal is to find the correct home for each pet that comes in. We also train a few lucky dogs to be service dogs to assist the deaf or hard of hearing, those with physical and mental disabilities. as well as those with disorders that may need an alert dog.
Who We Are
We are a small town about 20 minutes south of Dallas. We have a small shelter and one full time employee.
Adopting a friend
You can adopt from our Shelter for $ 150.000 adoption fee.
