Season." We are ALWAYS FULL- overflowing even. If you see an animal
that you like- DON'T WAIT!! Come in IMMEDIATELY and adopt it.
All of the animals here are on borrowed time. The one you want could be
running out of time. SAVE

Who We Are
We are Kerr County Rabies and
Animal Control.
Our Objectives
are as follows.
- To protect and find homes for unwanted animals
- License animals to help identify and aid in the return of
lost pets
- Enforce ordinances (such as leash laws, laws governing
vaccinations, and humane treatment)
- Cruelty investigations
- Complaint investigations
- Animal rescue
- Bite investigationand animal quarantine
- Educate the public to make citizens aware of
animal control problems and ways to help solve them

Adopting a friend
The Kerr County Animal Control shelter has the most reasonable adoption
fee in the area. For a mere $45 your adopted animal will be vaccinated
with puppy shots (parvo, distemper, and a few other things) or kitten
shots (distemper, etc.) and rabies plus be spayed or neutered, but this
is only if you have the work done in the Kerrville area at one of our
cooperating veterinary clinics. If you live out of the area and prefer
to have the work done there, please advise so we can tell you what we
can do for you.
