ROXY
Roxy was rescued from an abandoned house. Her 12 puppies were not so lucky. They drowned in a cesspool. Roxy is looking for just the right home and lots of attention.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Volunteers are urgently needed to assist in fundraising, provide foster homes, and participate in activities to educate the public in responsible pet ownership and humane treatment of animals.

The Critter Shack is an all-volunteer non-profit charitable organization with three goals:

1. Advocate for the humane treatment of animals and stray animal control

2. Facilitate spay and neuter programs

3. Educate the public in animal care, behavior and humane treatment of animals

Critter Shack is funded solely by donations. In 2007, the organization has sponsored a spay and neuter clinic in Menard, rescued and adopted out 57 dogs, 46 cats, and other types of animals. More than 90% of the animals have been spayed or neutered. The dogs up for adoption are being fostered in the members' homes.

Adopting A Friend

Adoption forms are available via email. A $25.00 fee is required to help cover costs.

Come Visit Us!

Dogs are being fostered at the members' homes. The animals can be seen by appointment.
