Our Featured Pet...
KING aka RHETT is our featured dobe. He is a blue, bald, cropped, and docked male doberman.
King was originally rescued and adopted by our group in 2004. His adopted family placed him with another family when they had a job transfer move them out west.
King's new owners turned him over to animal control when they decided to get a new puppy and didn't want two dogs. So King found his way back to rescue again.
He is a large blue male dobe that weighs about 80-85 lbs. He is approx. 7-8 yrs old and very friendly and good on a leash. He needs to be a low dose of daily thyroid meds, but the meds only cost about 9 dollars a month.
King is bald which is typical of many blue dobes and is in good shape otherwise. Plays well with female dogs. King is a happy dog. Crate trained. REMEMBER: King is bald so he needs a warm place in the winter and shade during the summer months--He can get sunburned.

The Doberman Club meets the first Tues of each month usually at the Petco store in Bartlett. Check with us for the time and to confirm the location.

We are a non-profit organization and donations are tax-deductible. If you wish to make a tax deductible contribution to our rescue efforts, please contact Micki Sowell or James Baker, see below. All donations go to cover veterinary costs.
IN MOST CASES WE DO NOT ADOPT PETS FURTHER THAN A 200 MILE RADIUS FROM THE MEMPHIS METROPOLITAN AREA. SORRY...
We Do Not Adopt to Minors.
We Do Not Adopt Male dogs with other Male dogs. We have not had any problems and we do not want any problems. This is a precaution.

Adopting a friend
If you would like information on our club or would like to adopt one of our rescues, please contact Cathy Jones, hatchiedobe@yahoo.com. Our adoption fee is 150.00 for one of our dogs, sometimes more if a puppy. This includes spay/neuter, heartworm testing, and annual vaccines.
