Loudon County Friends of Animals

Loudon, TN

Our Mission

Loudon County Friends of Animals is an IRS 501c3 non profit organization and also a Tennessee Corporation. We saved and adopted out 614 cats and kittens in 2018. We pull out of 4 county shelters here in East Tennessee into foster homes to save lives. Also, we take kitties from the community to keep them from going to the shelter, if we have space.

Our adoption fees include: Spay/Neuter, Deworming, FVRCP & Rabies Vaccinations (if old enough), Advantage Flea Prevention and tested for FIV/Felv (negative). Many are Microchipped too.

Also, you get a FREE veterinary visit at any Banfield Hospital inside of PetSmart stores, a FREE case of Whiskas wet food pouches, a FREE cat toy, a FREE Litter Box Scooper, a FREE educational coloring book for your kids, and a coupon for a FREE cat scratching pad.

MISSION STATEMENT

(1) Provide financial assistance to low income families for surgery costs to sterilize companion pets and provide TNR (trap-neuter-return).

(2) Prevent cruelty to animals by reducing the number of unwanted pet litters taken to our local kill shelter.

(3) Save as many animals from our local shelters as possible through our successful fostering adoption program.

(4) Educate public about responsible pet ownership and further the bond between people and animals.
