Join us from 1 PM to 5 PM on most Saturdays at the Petco in Farragut, TN for adoption events. We will be there sharing information on the breed as well as introducing our adoptable bullies to the public. We will also accept applications at this time, but we will not relinquish any dog to a person without a completed application on file at these events. Who We Are
East TN Pit Bull Rescue, INC. is a foster home based rescue operating in and around Knox County TN. At this time we are fairly small and limited in the number of Pits we can help. We are a Tennessee Non-Profit Corporation with 501(c) 3 status. That means contributions are tax deductible! All of our guys are spayed or neutered before placing. All require an application, home visit and adoption fee. We do not place our guys in homes with unaltered dogs or dogs of the same sex. Adopting a friend
All of our adoptions begin with the on-line application. This should be submitted by individuals 21 years of age or older. We require all other dogs in the home to be currently vetted and altered, as well as of the opposite sex as the Pit applied for. We need a current vet reference and a home visit. Dogs are placed on a temporary basis that becomes permanent after the trial period. There is a $150 adoption fee for dogs 7 months and up and a $175 adoption fee for dogs 6 months and under to cover the vetting related to the dog. Our dogs love to sleep on Kuranda Dog beds, but we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price for a another dog to sleep in comfort, please donate a Kuranda dog bed.
