This e-gift card will also help go towards the unconventional pets we care for.

Our Featured Pet...

Pantera

Pantera is a great eater and has taken to f/t quite well. This snakes previous owner did not think it could be done. This snake has not been sexed so it's a 50/50 chance it's one or the other...;-)

Who We Are

We are a small home-based rescue that concentrates on reptiles, but can often take in birds and small and furry animals, too. Previous to branching off from the Henry County Humane Soc. we had kept and placed all of the exotics listed in the "Already Adopted" links on that website. We wanted to have a place just for the exotics, however. This was our chance. We believe we can do this. While we await animals to adopt out, you can take a look at who we keep now for educational purposes at our Exotic Animal Rescue Photo Album

.

Adopting an Exotic Animal.

Adopting an exotic animal is not much different than adopting from a "normal" facility or organization. The applications are a bit more detailed and we often require a home check. All approved adoptions will be required to have a complete setup done before bringing the animal home. Email for more details.

We do offer courtesy listings free of charge. We know how hard it is to find a place to list your exotic pet. Send an email with up to 3 pictures (no larger than 800x600 - the clearer the better), and a bio to accompany it. This will include- Species, breed, name, age, size and as much information as you can provide. Does it come with a cage? Lighting? How much are you asking?

Come Visit Us!

Because this is a home-based rescue we do not allow unscheduled visits. An appt. must be made so someone can be home to either accept your animal you wish to see...to meet it and begin the adoption process. Please, call or email with the contacts provided below.

Due to life changes this rescue will no longer be accepting any more animals. It is a sad thing because exotic animals have a harder time finding places to go that are designed for them. These last animals up for adoption are it. No more. Please give them a good home.
