Our organization was started based on an overwhelming need to help rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome the MANY unloved and unwanted "bully breeds" in the mid-south area. While we are mainly focused on helping our bully breeds, we do take in any animal that needs our help. We are a private organization with NO FUNDING from any outside sources. All money spent on the pets is either out of our own pockets, from adoption donations, or from private donors. All adoptable pets are kept in private foster homes, where they are socialized, started on basic training and most of all LOVED!
WHAT IS A "BULLY BREED"?
A "bully breed" dog is NOT just a pitbull. Yes, pitbulls are the majority of the bully breed family we deal with, but there are many other types of dogs that can fall under this group. English Bulldogs, American Bulldogs, Boxers, Mastiffs, Bull Terriers, French Bulldogs, and even the BOSTON TERRIER (notice the flat bulldog face) are all considered bully breeds.
WHAT WE DO
All pets we rescue are immediately taken for veterinary care. Once the pet has been cleared by a veterinarian, the pet is placed in the appropriate foster home for proper training and socialization. All pets that come to us will stay with us until the right forever home has been found.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?
1. FOSTER FAMILIES: People willing to open their home and provide a pet a temporary home until they find a new forever family are truly angels. Foster parents are forever in high demand. Yes, it is hard to take in a pet, provide love and socialization, and then let it go. BUT, the reward in knowing that you have TRULY been the one who saved that pets life far outweighs any sorrow you feel when the pet leaves. Also, there is always a new pet that is ready to help heal sadness :) IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN FOSTERING ANY OF OUR LOVING PETS, OR ANY NEW PETS WE GET IN THE FUTURE, PLEASE FILL OUT OUR FOSTER HOME APPLICATION.
2. EVENT STAFF AND SPECIAL PROJECTS: Event coordinators are a big help in "beating the streets", and finding places to hold adoption events. Every event, no matter how big or small, help expose the organization and our adoptable pets to a variety of people. We are also always in need of people willing to do home visitations, help transprt animals, run the website, answer emails, return phone calls and LOTS of other things that help make the rescue process run smoother.
3. DONATIONS OF SUPPLIES: With new pets constantly coming and going, we are always looking for supplies. We can NEVER have to many of the following items:
* Pet food
* Pet bowls
* Leashes and collars or gentle leaders
* Pet carriers and Dog Crates
* BEDDING!!! This includes towels, blankets, sheets, comforters
dog pillows, etc...
4. MONETARY DONATIONS: Animal rescue is NOT done for profit. It is done out of love for the pet. Unfortunately, money becomes a deciding factor when making the decision to take on another rescue animal. Each animal we rescue costs us around $400, IF the dog has NO medical problems. Most often, rescue animals come with multiple medical issues. Heartworm treatment can run anywhere from $300 to $500 dollars, broken bones $300 to $700 dollars, skin conditions can run up to $200 dollars, etc. EVERY ANIMAL PUTS US FURTHER AND FURTHER IN DEBT. In order to continue to help these wonderful creatures, we need YOUR HELP TOO!! ANY amount of money you would like to contribute to our organization would be greatly appreciated. 100% OF DONATIONS RECEIVED ARE USED STRICTLY FOR THE CARE OF THE ANIMALS. If you would like to make a donation, please contact us and we can assist you in any way possible.
