OUR FEATURED PET OF THE WEEK

Greetings from Me..Diamond

UPDATE: We have approximately $39.00 left to reach our goal for Diamond's Heart Worm treatment. Thank you to all who have contributed to her fund and to Sherry Cupples and family for raising $116.00 for Diamond to help her live. We have a short way to go now to complete her fund for treatment...your help is very much appreciated by us and Diamond. You can make donations at the address below which is Diamonds Vet - Dr. Mattie Childers at 3-Way Animal Clinic.

Diamond is a very intelligent and loving Pit Bull Terrier, Diamond has been heart worm tested and her test came back that she is a strong heart worm positive. We are trying to raise the money for her treatment that she needs quickly in order to live. She will never find a home unless she gets treated first because it is very expensive. She is a great dog, very loving, she is housebroken and will make someone a great dog. Diamond is very young and very attentive to people and loves to be with people. She is just waiting to live. No amount is too small, please help save this sweet girls life. You can send your donations directly to

Three Way Animal Clinic

301 Dogwood Trail

Humboldt, TN 383843

or call in a credit card to 731-784-1212.

You can see more of Diamond on the Adoptable Pets link

UPDATE ON KIMBA

Kimba has a new family waiting on her to complete her recovery process. Kimba has been adopted and she will be going to Minneapolis, MN. Her name now is Kimba Brooks. She has been through so much and now thanks to every one's donations to help her with her HW treatment, she has found her forever home! She has a 2nd chance at life. Thank you to all her angels! Kimba had her check-up on November 13th to see if she is HW free and everything went very well and she is now back on full activity. Kimba will be leaving shortly for her new home. We are working now to get her a transport to outside of Chicago so she can be home for Thanksgiving, for she is truly a very thankful dog!3/>

Let us now try and give Diamond her 2nd chance at life.

YOUR DONATIONS ARE APPRECIATED VERY MUCH TO HELP US COMPLETE OUR KENNELS AND BE ABLE TO OPEN OUR FACILITY TO THE PUBLIC!.

We have had some wonderful monetary donations come in, however they have just been enough to try and keep our debts paid. We are trying very hard to complete our kennels at this time. If just 1/2 of the citizens in Gibson County would donate $2.00 a month, we could finish our facility and keep it well maintained and a very comfortable facility for our furry 4-legged pets while they are waiting for their forever homes. Some of them are strays, owner relinquishment's, and some are from animal cruelty cases. We have worked very hard for the last 21 months to keep this Humane Society running, but with Vet care, feeding, mortgage payments, utilities, etc. it has almost depleted our funds. Won't you please find a few dollars to help our animals here in Gibson County?

There is a PAYPAL button at the bottom of this page, or you can mail donations to P.O.Box 24, Yorkville TN 38389 or 211 Central Street, Dyer, TN 38330 in care of the Gibson County Humane Society, SPCA, Inc. We are a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, which means your donations are 100% tax deductible. Thank you very much to all of you who have supported us this last 21 months, without you we would not have made it this far. The number to call for donations of building materials or donations of supplies for our furry 4-legged friends is: (731) 483-2026 or they may be dropped off at our facility in Yorkville. Thank you.

We also have several kittens at 8 weeks of age that are ready for new homes. There are juvenile and adult cats also in need of forever homes. Some have been declawed on the front paws and all the cats of age have been spayed/neutered and feline leukemia tested. We have many beautiful colored cats/kittens that are not yet listed on our Adoptable Pets. Call for more information please.

Please DO NOT bring your pets to this building for we are still under construction and won't be open for a few more weeks. Right now we are at capacity and have no room for intake. To drop off your pets at our location is a crime of Animal Abandonment so please call us to see if we can help to place your pets in another manner such as posting them on this website.
