Did you know…? In seven years one female cat and her offspring can produce 420,000 cats…… In six years, one female dog and her offspring can produce 67,000 dogs……

The Answer is spaying and neutering!

The Animal Welfare Network: Helps families obtain needed spays/neuters for their pets that they otherwise could not afford. Provides free community programs about the importance of spaying and neutering. Through our spay/neuter programs the community avoids the birth of thousands of unwanted dogs and cats and the often horrible fate these animals face. They are shot, poisoned, hit by vehicles, used a “guinea pigs” for meth labs, bait for pit bulls, stave or freeze to death.

Spay/Neuter Applications can be picked-up at: Dunlap Chamber of Commerce or Dunlap City Hall B-Quick Market –Texaco on hwy 111 going up Cagle Mtn (before you get to Save-A-Lot). 6am-10pm Pikeville City Hall Messages can be left at - 423-949-2414.
