Who We Are

We are a small independent not-for-profit foster home dedicated to helping dogs find wonderful homes. We love cats but we can only work with dogs at this time. Our fosters are vet checked, vaccinated (including bordetella), spayed or neutered, in some cases microchipped and/or teeth cleaned. Our fosters live inside our homes as family. We have fenced in backyards for safety. We work on basic commands and rehabilitate abused or unsocialized dogs to prepare them for their new homes. We focus on inside doggie manners, general house training, leash walking, ruff play, jealousy, etc. Sometimes it takes weeks or months to prepare one of our fosters for adoption however we don't give up and will not make them available until we feel comfortable that they are ready. We have requirements before a family adopts one of our fosters. You can find some of the requirements listed below. Our adoption fees range anywhere from 65.00 to 125.00 depending on the pet.

Why do it?

We do this service for the animals because they are dependent on humans. We find it necessary to step in when other humans do not care for their pets properly or abuse, mistreat or abandon them. It takes work to be a responsible pet owner. We love them like our own and want to find the very best possible homes for them. We want you to be happy as well and hope that the foster you choose will make that perfect companion offering friendship and companionship for a long healthy life.

Adopting a friend

Here are some of our requirements before adopting one of our furry kids:

- A home visit is required PRIOR to adoption.

- Our dogs are to be INSIDE PETS with the family!

- A FENCED IN yard might be a requirement for certain dogs.

- Our animals are not to be kept on chains, cables, runners or in dog lots (or even a fenced in yard) for 24/7 days.

These Requirements are very small and are in place to ensure our animals safety and HAPPINESS. If you see one of our fosters you might like to meet please call or e-mail us for a meet and greet. We can make an appointment for most evenings or weekends. We like to meet at the Bark Park on Vance Dr across from Rooster Front in Bristol, Tn or at the dog park at the Sugar Hollow Park in Bristol, Va. across from Petsmart at exit 7 (weather permitting). If the weather is not the best we like to go to Pet Smart or Pet Partners. Depending on your location we can make arrangements to meet most anywhere. This initial meeting gives you a chance to get to know the particular foster you are interested in and the chosen dog a chance to meet new people and have a good time. ...so please don't hesitate to call!

Cant find the dog your looking for? Check back often for new fosters listed. Also don't hesitate to call to see if there are other fosters that have not been added yet. Often times we have one or two still preparing for adoption but we can give you updates on how they are progressing.

Donations!

If you would like to give donations to help us care for the animals please contact us. We can ALWAYS use gently used bedding, toys, pet dishes, leashes, crates, kennels, or even cat items for our smaller "furrys". Anything will be helpful if its pet related and we can pick it up if your local to the Tri Cities! :) Again thanks for visiting.
