"SAVE A SOUTHERN FRIEND"
It is so wonderful to see their faces when they are being love and care for. It is like they smile when their is food and water in their bowls. Tennessee needs help with the animals until their laws are properly inforce by the state. In the meantime so many animals are being euthanized, abandoned, neglected and not properly care by their owners. From the South to the North they all go, where there will be a loving tender hand to touch their hearts. The SPCA of Tennessee have help so many animals to be place in the Northeast in loving forever homes, and it is involved at this time with reputable rescues, one of them being, The New England Basset Rescue, who will give the shelter animals a second chance. "Save a Southern Friend" is our signature dedication to all the animals who need our help in the South and The SPCA of Tennessee is giving them a second chance.

The SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) of Tennessee is a non-profit organization devoted to helping animals in need and was founded in October of 2005. Our mission is to end animal cruelty and suffering in our state and beyond through education, investigation, and prosecution. We aim provide a safe haven and protection for abandoned, abused, neglected, and unwanted animals and to promote animal welfare through programs and services that mutually benefit animals and people.
Since October 31, 2005, the SPCA of Tennessee has placed over 300 animals in happy and loving homes. Most of our rescue dogs come from shelters, where the time is up, or situations where they are abandoned and neglected. We at The SPCA of Tennessee, will nourish them, love them and provide the medical care that they need before they go to their forever homes.
To be able to continue to meet our goals, we count on generous donations from the public to make sure our dedication for the animals continue growing in our state. We have our 501(c)(3) status and all donations are tax deductible.
ANIMAL SANCTUARY
WHO WE ARE
Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Tennessee (SPCA of TN)
With your help, we can provide them with a special place to be loved, cherished, fed, housed - and to receive proper medical care for the rest of their days. All animals deserve to live without fear for their lives - with a reliable means to fulfill their needs. As humans we know of the need for hope of a better tomorrow.
Because of their infirmities and physical challenges, much of it caused by human neglect and/or abuse, many homeless senior and special needs animals have very little chance of finding a new home. Our wonderful staff and volunteers will work tirelessly to find a place for these special animals to finish their life journey in comfort and in love.
The SPCA of Tennessee will help senior and special needs animals when all else fails. If we can, we find them a special home of their own. If that very special home never comes, they will still be safe and cherished until the end of their days. We pledge to love them, to care for them, and to try to anticipate and meet their every need. Whether they understand it or not, we want to assure that they will never be alone again.
Our efforts will be focused on animals who will need a safe and secure place to stay while they recover their physical health and emotional harmony. All animals will be spayed and neutered, and they will receive appropriate veterinary care and excellent nutrition. No cages, no chains. They will have snugly fenced acres where we can take them to run and play. All of them will have a secure indoor setting with appropriate cooling during hot days or heating through cold nights with bed and blankets to sleep in after a long day in the play area.
You are invited to participate in this dream of ours, to help us achieve it: with your kind donation we will be able to save more lives and make Tennessee a better place for the animals.
Monetary donations are always appreciated and welcome. Your donation is tax deductible and you can always use paypal or send a check to SPCA of TN at P.O. Box 1014 Brentwood, TN 37024-1014.
We are counting on your kind support and would like to invite you to join us in assisting those animals that need rescue in times of crisis. You can help us to continue to do what we do best – "saving animals in need". We look forward to sharing more happy stories with you! And REMEMBER Where there is FAITH there is The MAGIC of LOVE!~ SPCA of Tennessee

. . . Remember . . . "An animal’s unconditional love will touch your heart forever"
The animals give us the unconditional love that we need every day. Animals heal our heart and soul and makes us to be better people. I always had been an admirer of officer Anne Marie Lucas from the ASPCA of New York. She has been my inspiration to be able to achieve this dream. Anne Marie's passion and dedication for what she does gave me the strenght and determination to start the SPCA of Tennessee. I want the SPCA of Tennesse to be the animals voice when they are calling for help.
As The SPCA of Tennessee Team, we want to provide animal programs to schools and to our communities. To prevent cruelty to animals, to effect social changes in the State and to ensure that animals are regarded as loving companions.
