WE NEED FOSTER HOMES! Our animals are cared for and loved but need room to run and play. PLEASE help if you can! All food will be provided--you just give the love! Call Noah's Ark to volunteer.
We can also desperately use donations of food, toys, blankets, and even TIME for these fosters! Dog walkers and other volunteers are welcome. Call Noah's Ark for info.
Attention:OUR RESCUE IN CURRENTLY FULL TO CAPACITY AS OF 01/09/2008. We are a full service vet clinic also, so we also need our space for boarding animals and hospitalized animals. We sympathize with your plight, but unfortunately our resources are stretched beyond their limits. Please contact your county's animal control for help with stray animals.
Noah's Ark Animal Hospital is pleased to announce we are now online! We have our rescues posted with Petfinder and hope this will allow more people to meet and love our rescued animals. If you see an animal you like please contact us, there is always more at the hospital that are not on the website. Sometimes it takes us a while to get everything fully posted due to vetertinary medicine. Our fosters are usually strays that we nurse back to health, or former pets that owners have surrended for some reason. We give all our fosters superb care and lots of TLC. Our rescued animals are housed in our pet hospital, but we love to have them go out into homes as fosters, as that is best for the animal. Fostering a rescue allows them to learn proper manners, get a great deal of exercise, and interact with a wide variety of people and other pets. If you can't adopt another pet permanently, can you open your home to a foster? All veterinary care is covered, you just provide the love!
Who We Are
Noah's Ark Animal Hospital was opened in 2001 by head veterinarian and owner, Dr. Suzanne Franks. We offer full-service veterinary care and boarding in our pet suites. Noah's Ark also runs a rescue program for animals in need. We rehabilitate strays and surrendered pets and find them new homes. Everyone at Noah's Ark Animal Hospital is committed to giving only the best care to all the animals we treat.
Adopting a friend
If you are interested in adopting one of the animals you see here, please email us or call us for additional information about the pet. We can learn about your current situation--for example, do you have children? other pets?--and help you decide if the animal would be a good match. We then invite you to visit us to meet the pet. (Please be sure to call ahead, if possible!) One of the veterinarians will meet with you to approve your application. The fees for adopting animals will vary depending on the amount of veterinary care they have required. We will allow you to return a pet for up to one month after adoption for return of your adoption fee. If at any point in the future you must surrender the pet, we do ask that you notify us and give us the option of re-claiming him or her.
