Ken-Tenn Humane Society
…..making a positive difference in the welfare and quality of life for animals
Who We Are
The Ken-Tenn Humane Society (KTHS) is organized as a non-profit organization committed to making a positive difference in the welfare and quality of life for animals in Northwestern Tennessee and far Southwestern Kentucky and Northwestern Tennessee.
A main mission of KTHS is to have animals in the area spayed/neutered. We provide help to pet owners through grant monies we receive and by sponsoring a low-cost spay neuter clinic several times a year.
We are in the process of opening our fully-functioning shelter. Some of our cats are still in a temporary shelter, and a few of our dogs are fostered by generous individuals who voluntarily care for them until a permanent home can be found.
WE NOW HAVE OUR NEW SHELTER!! The address is 311 N. Fifth Street, Union City, Tennessee, -- easily accessible by the public . Please stop by and see our animals. The temporary hours are from 4-6 pm, Monday - Friday or you can email or call for an appointment. We will soon be having regular hours but we are still in the opening phase. Watch the local papers for our grand opening!!
We will also gladly accept donations toward a shelter.
