Our ongoing efforts include education, as indicated on www.DigitalDog.com via several outlets including the educational process available through adoption. All the dogs here are housetrained, cratetrained and generally given basic behavior skills prior to placement. Additionally DigitalDog will consult and support the adoptive home to help continue whatever training they might need as well as support and reinforce the behavior that is in place.
Our adoption program includes spaying/neutering (as appropriate), vaccinations (as appropriate), worming and often other needed care which has included various surgeries including amputations and dental care in the past. Adoption requires a few steps including an application, interview and visit, and home check. DigitalDog maintains an interest and concern in the companions we strive to help and as such will accept the return of any animal placed by our efforts. Adoption fees are nonrefundable and we do strive to offer continued support to our adoptive homes and follow up.
Adoption donations are requested at $75 and additional donations are always appreciated.
Feel free to EMAIL us with any additional questions.

Who We Are
Located in the historic town of Greeneville in the beautiful mountainous Northeast corner of Tennessee. www.DigitalDog.com offers fun and information about dogs from Breed Profiles to training/care information and fun topics like a dog name database and much more.Adopting a friend
All applications are evaluated as received. Upon review, the applicant is contacted for a brief interview (typically by phone). At that point, should all parties agree its a good match, a visit is scheduled as well as home visit. The purpose of the visit is to assess that the applicant and prospective companion are well suited. The home visit serves to provide the potential adoptive home with insights and short cuts to living and adjusting to the new pet and smoothing the transition.
