We are a group of concerned citizens working to reduce the rate of animal euthanasia in our area of middle Tennessee. We are doing this through the promotion of and financial assistance for, spay / neuter. We are organized as a non-profit Tennessee Corporation, in the form of a Society with members and Officers and have 501(3)c status. From 2003 - 2010, we were a full service pet rescue, placing over 3,700 dogs and cats in this mostly rural area of Tennessee. We decided that the intense promotion of spay / neuter was a better solution to the local population of unwanted pets, so we changed our focus to full-time spay / neuter. We facilitate spay / neuter by providing financial assistance to families in need, and receive funding from a combination of local fundraising and grant applications to foundations that support our goals.
Adoptable Pets
Although we are not a full pet rescue any longer, we do take in animals from time to time, related to our spay / neuter efforts and also provide courtesy posting services on PetFinder for qualified local pets in need of a forever home.
