Harley is a very lovable, playful black labrador/retriever mix. He is approximately two years of age, has been neutered and is up-to-date with his shots.
Harley would be a great dog for people/children of all ages. He is very playful, friendly, cuddly and would be very loyal. He has the most shiniest, soft black coat ever and loves to be brushed.
He gets along well with all of the other dogs at the shelter, but definitely loves the attention! Why not give Harley a home and enjoy the love he has to offer....adopt him today!

Who We Are
There are so many abandoned and stray animals in our area that we knew we had to establish somewhere for them to be safe. We do not misrepresent our pets. You will be informed of both good and bad habits (if any) as well as temperment, compatibility with other animals, history, etc as we are aware of it. We do have special needs dogs that would benefit from exceptionally compassionate and caring adopters, and foster homes are very much needed. Call about these situations for more info.
Adopting a friend
Adoption fee is $75.00. All dogs are vaccinated against parvo, distemper, influenza and rabies. We have a short application. We also have a pet agreement which requires that the pet be returned to POLDS if there are any problems, as opposed to being passed to another owner, or placed in another shelter. Home visits may be required at our discretion. If an animal is returned within two weeks of adoption a full refund is given. Our dogs are neutered/spayed before going to new adoptive homes.

We are located approximately 25 miles west of Chattanooga, TN. From Interstate 24-East, take the 155 exit (Hwy 28) take the immediate next exit (Jasper Exit/Hwy 41). Turn right off of the exit and travel approximately 2 miles. turn right on Hancock Rd. going toward Marion County Airport. We are approximately .5 miles on the right hand side. OUR GATE IS KEPT LOCKED TO PROTECT OUR ANIMALS, NO ONE WILL BE ADMITTED WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT. HOURS VARY FOR VISITS TO ACCOMMODATE POTENTIAL ADOPTERS.
