Collie Concern Rescue Inc.Our Pet ListWho We AreCollie Concern Rescue The mission of Collie Concern Rescue is to facilitate the adoption of displaced collies into loving and responsible homes and to provide a good interim quality of life for homeless collies. Our focus is on matchmaking the right collie into the right adoptive home. Collie Concern Rescue seeks to educate the public on responsible dog ownership through mentoring and post-adoption services.Collie Concern Rescue will work with adopters and fosters in neighboring states. Collie Concern Rescue is a non profit self funded organization established in Nov. 1994. All members of Collie Concern Rescue are unpaid volunteers, serving collies and owners for their love of the breed. How to adopt a CollieAll of our collies are adopted through our main website at www.collieconcern.org. You can view our policies on adoption here: http://www.collieconcern.org/policies and you can fill out an application to adopt one of our wonderful dogs here: http://www.collieconcern.org/application. In a nutshell, we will ask for two unrelated references, a veterinarian reference, we will have a phone interview and perform a home check. An approved application to adopt is good for any of our dogs and is kept on file for the future, so if you would like a collie from us, you can apply to adopt and be placed on our waiting list until the right furry family member comes along. Thank you for your interest in Collie Concern Rescue! How to HelpCollie Concern can sure use your help! Our greatest need right now is for foster parents, but we also very much need Interviewers, Crafters, Reference Checkers, Home Checkers, Dog washers, Transporters, Donations, etc! This is the lifeblood of the rescue. If we had more volunteers, we could save more collies and that is the simple truth. We are limited only by the helping hands we have. Collies of every phase of heart and brain and soul... Among you, you have taught me more of true loyalty and patience and courtesy, and divine forgiveness and solid sanity and fun and a hundred other worth-while lessons.... than all the masters I have studied under." -Albert Payson Terhune ![]() [Home] [Information] [Shelters] [Search] |
