Sylvan Bark Poodle Rescue

Our Pet List

News

Sylvan Bark Poodle Rescue has fostered and placed many Poodles (and other mutts) since November 2001! Thanks to everyone who adopted these wonderful dogs.

Lost Forever... In Memoriam AuLait was a beautiful charming cockapoo who came from a city shelter. He was surrendered by his family. The last 3 weeks of his very short life were made miserable by the distemper virus that eventually killed him. He was probably never vaccinated and therefore susceptible in a high risk environment. Don't let this happen to any dogs or cats you know. Please remember to vaccinate your pets.

Who We Are

Check out my website for other information www.redrovercomeover.com. I am financially able to rescue many dogs by running a dog daycare, training, grooming, and charging adoption fees. The fees alone recover less than one third of my veterinary expenses. I receive no public assistance. Please respect my hard work and these animals.

Adopting a friend

Potential adopters must complete an application and may have to submit to a home visit. The dogs in our care have been displaced and deserve stability, patience while they adjust, and unconditional love for the rest of their lives. With the right match, they'll make a lifelong commitment to you with joy! Email me at heidi @ redrovercomeover.comfor more information about adoption. Always include the pet's name in the subject line or your email may be deleted accidentally.

If you are having a problem that is making you consider giving up your dog, please try training first. No matter what you tell yourself, your dog will be happiest if he or she can stay with you. This is especially true if the dog has lived with you for an extended period of time or has experienced many different homes. Email for training information heidi @ redrovercomeover.com
