Who We Are:
Hawkins County Humane Society is a 501c3 shelter and organization that serves as the only resource for homeless animals in the Hawkins County Area. Our services include the gentle care of homeless dogs, puppies, cats and kittens. We are looking to make the shelter better in any way possible, including new management. Our staff of highly caring individuals provides care 7 days a week as well as support to the public in the form of adoption and placement support, referencing of animal related calls to appropriate government bodies and of course, the cooperation and coordination of volunteer efforts, including this Petfinder page. Please feel free to let them know your appreciation for the difficult job they perform. Efforts are made to keep this site as up-to-date as possible but we always advise that you contact the shelter with any specific questions regarding availability (of cats or dogs by size, type or age). Hawkins County Humane Society works to accommodate adoptive homes and rescues, even those that are outside our immediate geographic area, please call the shelter for more information.
