Our adoption fee is $100-$150 for dogs depending on age and $75-$100 for the cats. We will reduced the second kitten/cat to $50 so you can adopt 2 fully vetted kittens for $150.
The adoption fee includes for dogs - spay/neuter, vaccinations, dewormings, heartworm testing & started on preventative, and a microchip with lifetime registration.
For cats the fee includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, dewormings, Feline Leukemia/FIV testing (ALL our cats are negative), and a microchip with lifetime registration.
But wait we have an even better deal on our black or black/white cat or kittens. Because we won't adopt our black cats/kittens when it is closer to Halloween we are offering a $75 reduced fee in September and first of October.
Adopting A Friend
If you are interested in adopting your next furry family member from AnimalWorks please visit the Petsmart store in Knoxville or our Adoption Center at 3377 Regal Drive in Alcoa, to see some of our adoptable pets and learn more about our adoption procedures. You may also give us a call and we'll be glad to go over our adoption procedures with you! We do require that any pets currently in your home be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested (dogs) and on preventative (dogs), combo tested (cats) and on flea preventative. This is the standard of care we provide for our adoptable pets while in our care and we want to be sure they get that or better from their new family.

ANIMALWORKS IS BLOUNT COUNTY'S ONLY NO KILL SHELTER THAT ALSO OFFERS HIGH QUALITY, AFFORDABLE SPAY AND NEUTER SERVICES AS WELL AS LOW COST VACCINATIONS AND TESTING. TO DATE, WE HAVE SPAYED OR NEUTERED OVER 22,000 ANIMALS AND FOUND HOMES FOR OVER 5,500!

Our main shelter facility is located at 3377 Regal Drive in Alcoa. We are located behind West Chevrolet on Regal Drive. This is also our location for our low cost spay/neuter clinic. Give us a call @ 865-379-2227
Our hours for our main shelter are Mon - Fri 10am - 6pm or Sat 10am - 4pm Closed on Sundays
